Founded by Jeff and Adam Shoemaker,
the company has grown from one truck and
lawn mower to what
it is today, one of the largest landscape
companies in the area.
“I had no idea when we started
mowing lawns that we would grow to the size
we are today,” owner and president Jeff
Shoemaker comments. “It has taken a lot of
work, but seeing the customers faces when we
complete a job is rewarding.”
Credits to their name include
maintenance and lawn service for over 100
local businesses and residences as well as
landscape design and installation.
“While we do larger jobs, like the
recently completed Target,” owner and vice
president Adam Shoemaker says. “we know we
have gotten to where we are by providing
quality timely services to the residents of
Fenton.”
Target, located on Owen road
adjacent to US-23, has been months in the
planning for the landscape company. Planning
and preparation is key to completing large
jobs with specific challenges like the one
Target gave the company. Many people and
resources must be dedicated for everything
to run smoothly.
“ We have
handled projects similar to this one
before,” designer and chief sales
representative Wade Smith says. “The
challenge was to get everything done in the
timeline set for us.”
It seems as
though they have met their deadline with
success.
Shoemaker Services’ next large job
is phase 3 of the Tri-County Soccer Fields
located in Linden. They will be installing
the irrigation system that provides water to
over 1 million Square Feet of grounds.
